The program covers a diverse range of courses like basic IT literacy, the Adobe suite, financial accounting, desktop publishing, web designing, 2D animation, video editing, and Scratch programming.
Each of these courses was developed with the vision of empowering the citizens of India and help them become job ready.
Multiversity has developed these courses in English, Hindi, Marathi and other Indian languages like Oriya, Kannada, and Telugu. They have also been translated into international languages like Arabic, Malay, and Sinhalese. Know-IT was founded as a venture of the Multiversity group in 1998, at the threshold of the new century. Its driving vision was to advance the application of information technology in education.
As MKCL’s Regional Lead Centre (RLC) and Local Lead Centre (LLC) for the regions of Pune, Ahmednagar and Nashik, Know-IT supports close to a 1,000 Authorised Learning Centres. These centres are model examples of MKCL’s courses, and are operated to high standards of learning. They manage every aspect of operation, from administration, marketing, academics and compliances right up to conduction examinations and issuing certification for the various programs.
Each year close to 160,000 students enrol across these centres. In the last 12 years, close to 1.5 million learners have successfully been certified across these 3 districts of Maharashtra.

The education management program is a comprehensive and integrated approach towards electronic governance of universities and colleges. It was co-created by MKCL and several universities and covers the entire life cycle of a student, from admission right up to certification.
The implementation is hassle-free and offered on turnkey or BOT basis with ongoing training at the workplace. Multiversity Know-IT is the implementation partner of this eSuvidha framework at YCMOU, Nashik.
Close to 50 lakh students have been managed via this electronic framework in the past 10 years.
Under the same ambit, Know-IT also handles the Online Admissions & Recruitment projects across the 3 regions for various Government agencies. Close to 4 Lakh applicants have been processed through this program, dubbed OASIS. The strength of the OASIS framework lies in its ability to transform the complex admission/ recruitment processes into simple, transparent, user friendly systems.
The Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) is a premier R&D organization of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. Its areas of focus include IT and electronics.
In 1993, C-DAC set up the Advanced Computing Training School to meet the ever-increasing requirement of skilled manpower in the Information Communication Technologies industry. It aimed to supplement its intellectual resource base for cutting-edge research and development. Multiversity Know-IT is responsible for running a Postgraduate Training Centre under C-DAC. This centre has successfully trained over 2,000 students in the past 15 years, enhancing the pool of skilled ICT professionals and researchers to power India’s progress into the digital universe.
